This course will demystify makeup once and for all, teaching you how to look the part whether you're on screen or stage, auditioning or performing.
What exactly will I learn?
We'll start by decluttering your makeup kit, choosing the right brushes & products to suit your colouring. Next you'll learn simple techniques for applying your makeup, one step at a time -- from foundation right through to eye & lip products. Finally, we'll get into the specifics of how to approach your makeup application depending on whether it's for photos, on-screen auditions or stage performance. Meet Kat Elizabeth, creator of GAMEFACE
Kat is an actor, small business owner and ex-makeup artist who originally hails from Australia and is now based in Vancouver. She got her start working in theme parks, then performed in the original Australian casts of Jersey Boys & Hairspray before moving into film & TV. She studied makeup at Napoleon Perdis Academy in Brisbane and has worked as a freelance MUA for weddings, music videos and her favourite thing -- teaching women how to do their own makeup! These days when she's not acting, she works as a self-employed copywriter, marketing strategist and coach.
